Rustic Live Edge Burl Wood Platform Bed

Description

A rustic live edge burl wood platform bed creates a warm and inviting space for our much-needed rest. This unique design features a burl wood slab as the headboard along with a thick live edge wood plank platform bed frame. While we typically use a redwood burl wood slab as the headboard, wood species such as maple burl and buckeye burl are great options. The design accents thick wood planks in a teardrop live edge design. Also, the top of the platform bed frame is 10″ off the floor but as always this is fully customizable. Please speak with our rustic furniture designer to discuss the options. While you are at it why not add a set of matching nightstands or even area rug.

Along with burl wood beds we also design and build rustic live edge furniture. We use the best ethically source live edge wood native to the Pacific Northwest. Wood species such as salvaged old-growth redwood burl, big leaf maple, and Claro walnut along with a few other burl wood species.
