The live edge burlwood mirror features a live edge burl wood slab ethically sourced from the United States Pacific Northwest. Burl’s while found in all wood species, are not common. A burl’s an abnormality caused by fungal, viral, environmental, or even insects. Though it’s rare, it’s commonly found underground in the root system and less common as nodules on the side of a tree.
