Our live edge console table blends the beauty of natural wood with the strength of forged steel. This table is the collaboration of two traditional craftsmen: a blacksmith and a woodworker. Each brings a different skill to design and build this piece of furniture. The Colonial-style blacksmith works his artistic magic by heating, hammering, and shaping the metal. His technique creates an old-world look. The woodworker is a skilled furniture maker. His attention to detail begins with using air-dried live edge wood. His 20 years of experience carry through from the wood selection to the building and in the finishing process. The final assembly highlights both of these craftsmen’s work, which completes this natural wood table.
The cherry wood in this beautiful table is ethically sourced. We source all of our wood slabs from North America. Each piece of live edge wood we use is hand-selected for its strength, color, and interesting wood pattern. Then we apply an all-natural hardwax-oil finish. This hardwax-oil finish highlights the natural grain of the wood while creating a protective barrier. It is both durable and stain-resistant. We believe in creating natural wood furniture that will last a lifetime.
