Yes. While cottonwood is a lighter species, burl wood is dense, stable, and ideal for dining tables when properly air-dried and finished—which we do by hand following traditional methods.
3. How is the table finished?
We use a durable, natural, hardwax finish that becomes part of the wood fibers, enhancing the wood’s color and figure while keeping the surface smooth and touchable. It protects the wood while preserving its organic feel.
4. Can I customize the size of my cottonwood burl table?
Absolutely. We build each table from the slab up. Common sizes range from 72″ to 120″ long, but we can craft your table to match any dining room, cabin, or open-concept space.

Yes. We work with ethically sourced, naturally fallen, salvaged, or selectively harvested wood from trusted suppliers—including air-dried natural wood slabs, many of which are native to the Pacific Northwest.
7. How do I care for a cottonwood burl dining table?
Keep it dusted, wipe spills promptly, and avoid harsh commercial cleaners. For regular cleaning, use our wash care product to clean and feed the finish for years of use—spot repair minor scuffs and scratches.
8. Do you ship nationwide?
Yes. We crate each piece securely and ship via common carriers throughout the United States. White-glove delivery is available upon request.
