An award-winning design, this natural burl wood table celebrates the innate beauty of forged steel intertwined in natural live edge wood. A collaborative piece by Anthony Martin and Kelly Maxwell. A hollow, spalted maple burl log is the foundation for this rustic table. A steel tree of life was crafted and placed in the hollowed log, with the main stem being a maple branch that supports the live edge tabletop.
A peach-leaf willow and blackberry vines intertwine with the maple and around the log, supporting the tabletop. A dogwood branch with copper flowers and English ivy finishes off the blacksmith work. A gnarled spalted maple burl live-edge slab serves as the tabletop. A nature-inspired design that will transform any home or commercial space.
“Life in Nature” received Best of Show at the 2024 Western Design Conference in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
