Description
Natural wood slab dining table made from a rare end grain cut of a double heart Cypress tree. While the tree was harvested in the late 1800s early 1900s it was not milled until 2006. At the time the largest sinker Cypress log recovers from a waterway in Dermott, AK, which yielded 17 end grain live edge wood slabs. Which also averaged 6″ thick and sizes from 36″ by 60″ to 60″ by 60″ in diameter! These limited release live-edge tables feature two Cypress trees that married and became one tree. Making these live-edge tables not only unique but collector’s items. We seek out, rare wood native to the USA to us in our natural wood furniture designs. Whether a slab wood dining table or a live edge dining table these rare live edge wood slabs are sure to be a fun conversation piece.
