Each rustic live edge table design is artistic yet functional and incorporates natural materials such as tree stumps, driftwood, Western juniper, or as in this case, manzanita. Antlers from deer, elk, or moose sometimes find their way to our tables bases as well. Kelly Maxwell hand selects each component, and his focus is on the unique shape, color, and texture of each element. This process means that no two rustic tables are the same, although they can be similar in shape, dimensions, and type of wood. This live edge table, like any of our other furniture pieces, is fully customizable.
We use high-quality, air-dried natural wood such as cypress, redwood, maple, or walnut burl in all of our live edge furniture designs. Our live edge wood’s also ethically sourced and native to the US. Our concern for the environment also extends to our choice of finish. We finish all our pieces with a mat, hand-rubbed, natural wood finish that’s low in VOC. This finish is also water and dirt repellent and will protect your rustic table from spilled wine, coffee, and even sodas.
