We only use ethically sourced, natural wood slabs native to North America. When we construct our sturdy egg crate, each piece of wood is selected for its beautiful grain and interesting pattern. We cut, carve and hand sand each rounded egg recess.

Made with the following species of wood:

• Claro Walnut – has dark and bold wood grain
• Redwood – has tones of browns and dark reds
• Maple – for a light, warm look
• Oak – for a light, neutral color

We apply an natural food-safe premium hardwax-oil finish to each. Our hardwax-oil is eco-friendly and safe for children’s toys. It brings out the beauty in the wood and provides a durable surface. Both stain-resistant and water-resistant, making clean-up a breeze. Wipe off with a damp cloth.
