Custom office desk

We believe an office decor that is warm and inviting increases productivity. A natural wood desk can do just that by using a wood slab in crafting a basic office desk or an executive desk. The natural wood invites the calm and stability of nature in the work environment. The natural beauty of wood has been the backbone of rustic furniture. But mid-century furniture designs with the use of clean lines and natural wood slabs warm any home decor. Progressive craftsman-like George Nakashima highlighted the natural wood elements in his wood furniture.

Although we design and craft spec office desks, we also build a custom office desk and rustic furniture to meet our client’s specific needs. So the question is, what is a rustic office desk? Basically is a rustic desk built in a specific style with specific end must-haves in its functionality. This can be a simple writing desk or a massive executive desk. Many of our custom designs are a rustic desk. They feature live edge wood or solid wood slabs as the top. We also customize our rustic desk by using stump and driftwood bases or twisted juniper. Other options include filing cabinets or cabinets with drawers, doors, or any combination. We also offer a wood slab as a natural base option.

We use live edge wood slabs native to the USA. Although we are not tree huggers, we do believe in being environmentally responsible. We try to source our material from trees and root systems on the forest floor or dead standing trees. This leads to sustainability but can limit material supply. We mainly use Claro Walnut, old-growth Redwood burl, and Big Leaf Maple burl as our main wood species. We look forward to working with you on your wood furniture needs.
